What is FOURGE Media Group?

FOURGE Media Group provides professional, season-by-season documentation of athletes’ careers. We organize verified stats, written context, curated imagery, and historical records into clean, consistent athlete profiles designed to be easy for coaches, recruiters, families, and programs to review.

FOURGE focuses on documentation, clarity, and continuity — not hype or promises.

Who is FOURGE Media Group for?

FOURGE Media Group works with:

  • Student-athletes and families
  • High school programs
  • Booster-supported initiatives
  • Alumni and post-graduation athletes

Most athletes begin working with FOURGE during middle school or early high school, but profiles can also be created later in an athlete’s career.

NOTE: FOURGE Media Group does not contract directly with student-athletes and does not designate students as the primary point of contact. All communication, scheduling, and agreements are handled exclusively through a parent or legal guardian.

Student-athletes may occasionally forward factual materials (such as statistics, schedules, or notes from a coach); however, any requests, instructions, confirmations, or decisions will be directed to — and coordinated through — a parent or legal guardian.

After a student-athlete has graduated from high school and reached the age of 18, direct communication with FOURGE Media Group may occur, provided parent or legal-guardian consent is on file.

Is FOURGE Media Group a recruiting service?

No. FOURGE Media Group is not a recruiting, representation, or placement service.

FOURGE Media Group does not:

  • Guarantee recruiting offers or scholarships
  • Negotiate on behalf of athletes
  • Communicate with college or professional teams as a representative
  • Influence roster decisions, playing time, or evaluations

FOURGE Media Group documents and presents verified information so others can evaluate athletes accurately and efficiently.

Does FOURGE Media Group guarantee offers, scholarships, or advancement?

No. FOURGE Media Group does not guarantee recruiting outcomes, offers, scholarships, or professional opportunities.

Athletic advancement depends on many factors, including performance, health, academics, timing, and program needs. FOURGE Media Group’s role is to ensure an athlete’s body of work is clearly documented and professionally presented, not to predict or promise outcomes.

Is FOURGE Media Group “pay-to-play”?

No.

FOURGE Media Group does not influence:

  • Playing time
  • Team selection
  • Roster placement
  • Coaching decisions
  • Recruiting evaluations

Some families or programs choose higher levels of documentation or presentation services, but the underlying facts, stats, and records remain unchanged.

How early can an athlete work with FOURGE Media Group?

Many athletes begin working with FOURGE Media Group in 7th or 8th grade, allowing their development to be documented over time. Others join later during high school or after graduation.

There is no required starting age.

Who provides stats and information?

Stats and factual information are typically provided by:

  • Families
  • Coaches
  • Team or league records
  • Publicly available sources (e.g., MaxPreps)

FOURGE Media Group organizes and verifies information where possible but does not independently officiate or certify statistics.

How are photos and videos handled?

FOURGE Media Group may:

  • Host athlete-provided images or video with permission from the original photographer or videographer
  • Coordinate limited photography or video coverage through FOURGE Media Group-approved photographers
  • Curate and organize media already produced by other parties for documentation and presentation purposes

Photography and video services are optional add-ons and are not included in all documentation packages.

Who owns the content?

Ownership of content is defined as follows:

  • Copyright ownership of photographs and video remains with the individual or entity that created the work (i.e., the photographer or videographer who captured the images or footage), unless rights are explicitly transferred by written agreement.
  • Athletes and families retain rights to the athlete’s likeness, subject to applicable permissions and agreements.
  • FOURGE Media Group retains rights to its written content, editorial work, layouts, design systems, and presentation formats, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Any reuse, redistribution, or commercial use of photography or video beyond documentation and presentation is subject to the terms established by the original content creator.

Media hosted, curated, or presented by FOURGE Media Group is used solely for documentation, archival, and presentation purposes, and does not imply transfer of copyright ownership.

What happens after an athlete graduates?

Graduated athletes may be designated as FOURGE Media Group Alumni. Career profiles can remain available as an archival record and may be updated periodically to reflect post-high-school milestones.

Can an athlete or family stop working with FOURGE Media Group?

Yes. Participation is voluntary. Profiles can be archived or removed upon request, subject to existing agreements.
